Are people bored with 360?

Been thinking about this the other day, I've noticed many people on my friends list have hardly been on the 360 in ages (unless they have been offline)

With the xbox 360 7 years in november I've wondered if people are just waiting for new systems now. I'l be honest and say I've diverted spending back to pc games more now due to the fact many games are now using dx 11 proper.

as well as that do anyone care as much about achievements nowadays? I used to at one point but I dont really bother as much anymore, maybe the novelty has worn off.

Ive stopped playing xbox lately i paid for Dawnguard and havent played it same as BF3 paid for the whole lot and not played it, MW3 elite and i havent even dl the map packs i just cant be bothered ive gone to pc for driving games xbox was boring the crap out of me forza needs more tracks to keep it interesting. RBR on the pc with a steering wheel is the most reward rally game you can play excellent physics and with it modded there are so many tracks with the btb downloads.

I don't think it is the xbox itself, just with no big releases having come out in such a long time (except sleeping dogs). It happens every year, every game comes out in the February-May time and then it stops for a few months before it picks up again for the christmas rush.

Give it until FIFA 13 (probably the next massive release) and you will see people back online again! Then with MoH, Far Cry 3, Halo 4, Black Ops 2 and Assassins Creed 3 all coming out in a space of about 30 days there will be plenty of games for people to play and new reasons to get back online!!

I feel I've played those games anyway!
As for Forza yes the game does need a few more tracks, the game feels like they just changed the interface between games and done little else.

also many games will now be in development for next gen consoles thats why this years games shows fell flat

Personally I would like to see some innovation now, all we seem to get is sequel after sequel. And they wonder why game sales are in the gutter. As many will know they fell off a cliff in the last year.

Will be interesting to see if Activision can set another record for cod, I believe they might, but it will get harder to keep doing that for many more years. I fear cod could be on its way down if they dont innovate, i suspect they may be holding real changes back for next gen

I don't think that they will change the game at all for future gen except with a new engine to make full use of the new hardware as they would be too scared that they may scare away people from buying it by changing it too much.

Let's face it the second CoD starts making less than $1 billion each time then Activision will can the series and be left with nothing!!

I also forgot to mention that there has been a lot on TV that has stopped people from playing.

there was Euro 2012 on for 2 weeks and then 1 week later the Olympics (massive success by the way) and today the new football season has started again! Hopefully people will be able to find their controllers under all of the layers of dust!!!

Going to stick with the cheap pc driving games till the new releases come out and then might rent them lost so much money buying every new game to find its not all it was cracked up to be

Its just ive been busy with work as i was running a project over the Olympics (recoveries and technicians for broken down vehicles) - it really took it out of me, plus ive had weird hours so im in bed when you lads are on and most importantly its been upto 37 degrees centigrade here.
