General chat for November

Another month gone already, looks like the world wont end in 2012 after all!

I'm off work for a week probably go to London on saturday for a day out and my Halo 4 has been dispatched so should have that soon!

Loads going on for me.

Obviously a few new games out in the for of Halo 4, /Hitman Absolution, Far Cry 3 and maybe Black Ops 2.

In my personal life, I have a job interview next week so i might be leaving Gamestation (or Game as we are now officially called) after working there for over 7 years.

Lots to look forward to.

I'm sitting here witha ice cold beer in my hotels reception, waiting for my wife to return from a shopping trip she's gone on with a couples wife we met here! So glad I hid my card before she left this morning. Need that money for the games I've got coming this month.

Swapping jobs at the start of this year has been the best thing I could of done.

found out in my town the old Game store will become a CEX store! http://uk.webuy.com/ been in a few of these stores in Manchester and Stockport, dont think they are as good as Game though

just been for my shopping an hour ago thats to staff discount and some money off voucers I managed to purchase Sleeping Dogs on 360 for £10 (well just under!)

so Blops 2 has a worse 1st week than MW3, Blops and MW2!

although sales are still great, I've always thought it would be tough to keep setting new sales records each year especially after so many people getting fed up of cod every year, maybe every other year would be best, but Activision are not going to turn down that money

Started last year willow! MW3 was worse sales than Black Ops and now Black Ops 2 even worse. Maybe soon activision will realise that people don't want the same thing every year!

Activision have been here before with other franchises, they sell well, so sequel them quickly and then after a while sales decline, look what happened to Guitar Hero?

Dont believe COD will decline as much as quickly as GH but it is now in decline.

my new Virgin media super hub has arrived, managed to eclipse my last modem / router. It managed 97 Mbps, on my first attempt on this new super hub I managed 105 Mbps! Clearly the old modem and router were running to capacity

well I have downloaded my first PS+ game for Vita, the Uncharted game, and its just like it is on PS3! I found it was faster to download the game on ps3 and then move it to vita, had to move fifa from vita to ps3 as I did not have enough memory, going to buy a big memory card after christmas, will be plenty of ps+ titles to play on it.

Steam has its autumn sales at the moment, I spend a fortune on these sales, I spent over £200 on the summer sales, will restrain myself for this sale, will spend more at christmas

I like to buy a lot of indie games, without big budgets and such they are free to innovate more I think

Need more time to play games.

New games on the shelf so far:

Black Ops 2 (Campaign completed)
Forza Horizon (Campaign completed)
Assassins Creed Revelations
Assassins Creed 3
Hitman Absolution
Halo 4

Add to that Far Cry 3 in a week and, maybe the Hitman HD Collection if it doesn't slip to next year, and i will need to take a week off work just to play them!!!

Thank god that there is nothing out for a few months so that i can actually enjoy the games that i have already got

I have plenty of games to play at the moment, probably get Far Cry 3 in the new year, I know I have had to push a few games into the new year.

I have yet to purchase AC3 but will do so in the new year.
Really been enjoying the new Sonic & Allstars racing transformed, did not realise it was out until one of my friends mentioned it, so had to get that the other day.

I'm just waiting on one game now to arrive, and thats Lego Lord of the Rings! Apparently its brilliant

I would rather have Nintendo spend a bit more on the system than on a silly tablet controller.
Can't shake off the impression that people are disappointed with it. Reviews of games like Mass Effect 3 do the system no good.
