Maybe there Is something to this Cloud gaming thing?

According to developers it helps massively with offloading work from the CPU so technically the Xbox One is actually more powerful than the PS4 because of this!

I think this cloud thing atm is all hype. What speed of broadband would you need? remember you need to send and receive info. it might be able to have background work done, but nothing that needs to be done instantly. Imagine crashing in a racing game and waiting a minute for it to compute the physics in the cloud!

My belief is time will tell if this cloud thing will be revolutionary or not.

PS4 cloud is purely for streaming games that were on the PS3 and on the Vita, not used for the development of games and how they run on the console.

I think maybe a 10mb/s connection should suffice for something like that, all depending on how much data is being transferred!

dedicated servers! But as the article explains it will mean different things for different games. I would assume than any game that uses the cloud would be online only unless the cloud is only used for online games

It will be used to keep rendereing game worlds too, such as Dead rising 3 to eliminate loading times completely
