General Chat: September

Well another month gone, just 2 months now until the next generation, unless you own a high spec PC then the future is now  

or unless you live in a non release country and have to wait for new gen releases    



For me September brings the hassle of returning to work after having 2.5 weeks off work, ive not touched the xbox as im in the UK and left it in Holland, ive chilled out with my family, ive been to watch a fair bit of Speedway, ive got some nice clean country air in my lungs, ive ate well, drank even better and now im having to face up to going back to a job i really cant be bothered with anymore. Some decisions need making soon but for now i will sit back and count the money  

Enough of that, ive got 5 more days off work - i might head to the local games shop or Game to see what they have in stock seeing as im waiting a while for the Xbox One release

well I contacted Overclockers they are sending out a code for Batman Arkham Origins they should have done but did not!

that's good saves me £30, will have to play that new splinter cell I got with my new graphics chip as well.

well the code arrived! went to NVidia site, and inputted a code, which gave me a steam code for the Batman Origins game. Put the code into steam so now its registered to my account!

Also managed to solve my PC issue with the new graphics card which seemed to something strange to my Ethernet connection which meant I had to stop and restart the adapter! A motherboard bios update has fixed that which is good!

looking forward to next week, not in work, so time for GTA5 and some PC games!

Dreading next week. We now have over 1000 preoreders for GTA. That makes it the most preoredered game in our shops history!!!

I think that we will have at least 400 people at the midnight launch. Not fun.

I am working from 8 pm until we have served everybody (probably around 3.30 am) and then I have to get up with the kids and do the school run at 7.30 and begin work at 8am. I don't think that I shall even bother going to bed.

I got lucky with the xbox one, it comes out on the friday and I am off the week after lol, I must of been psychic when I booked that eh.

could be bad for me I work Friday nights (2pm 11pm) so I have Xbox One on one Friday and PS4 the other. Its possible I wont be on them until the Saturday! (unless delivery is early, which I doubt)

I have still to order any games for either system yet! Not sure what I will order wont be until next year before I buy loads of games for them both though

as of now I am looking at buying Forza 5 for XBO on launch and Assassins Creed 4 on PS4.

and probably another game as well. Likely to get the new COD on PC. Unsure of what to get BF4 on yet probably the PC version I can get it for £28! from work just checked.

Getting FIFA with my console, also buying BF4 and DR3. Getting BF4 on PC too which I can get for around £30 in disk form from the game website.

Just killing time atm waiting for GTA5 to come out, its so close now!!!

well I had a good day out yesterday, and got myself Tomb Raider and Dead Space 3 from Grainger Games in York for £26 for both.

I have finished TR on PC and have been playing DS3 on PC, but I thought I would like them on console just to get the achievements and such, plus to see how they are on console.

Am I the only one who has GTA5 and only played like an hour of the game so far?

Yes you are the only one willow. All ive done since tuesday is sleep, eat, work, school and gta!! Approaching 15 hours play time already!

I think GTA5 is getting better for me. I were not sure about it from the start but I like it more now.

Well out internet it pretty much non existent at the moment!! The download speed is around 0.02mbs. Yep.

Basically BT are useless and you should never use them. NEVER. Don't know when it will be back to normal but in the mean time shall not be on XBL. Bloody typical timing, just before GTA Online and the BF4 beta!

what are you trying BF4 beta on pc or 360?
By the way you can select where to install origin games in the settings but only games installed after you make the change will be installed there.

got the early access on 360 but will try it on both. Heard the controls are changed to CoD controls. If this is the case then I shall not be happy!!
