Apparently the one is vastly quiter than the PS4, which is nice to know. but pretty sure I read somwhere that you can only just hear the PS4 if there is no other noise in the room.


All in all a good review. we can watch tv, or play other consoles through the Xbox one, though with tv you still have to navigate with the sky control.

The more I see the console I don't feel it is any uglier than PS4, the grills on the top, for me have create a really nice affect.

Looking forward for this, and fingers crossed it won't be as problematic as the PS4 has been.
The demo of the voice operation and the Ui was impressive too.

well my console has been "dispatched" but that still means I should get it Friday, some games don't seem to be dispatched though could end up with the system and no games, well Fifa but hopefully they will arrive the same day  

yeah mate, that is why I knew they would do the midnight launch and went for that, hate the waiting game, and not knowing what will arrive and when lol.

I'm in work Friday so just hoping it arrives before I go to work, so I would not spend much time on it anyway and a quick go when I get home

Saturday is the real day for playing it for me!

I'm going to try killer instinct as well as that basketball game for which the demo will be available it looks really good!

i am working 7-4 tomorrow then I am off for 10 days, got £660 from saving and selling stuff so should be able to gat a fair amount of kit

I have heard that I may not be able to choose between fifa and forza as I have the day one edition, which is a shame, so may not have forza till I get paid next week, will probably put fifa up for sale to help pay for it.

just spoke to Tesco on twitter, apparently my games will be sent separately from the Xbox One  

They say the delivery is up to 10 DAYS from dispatch! But it says ready for dispatch today! Reality is 9 out 10 games I have pre ordered arrive on the day of release. Lego Marvel that I ordered from game arrived 6pm last Friday!

So its likely I will get the machine before work but games arrive later on, since I work until 11pm should not be that much of a problem I suppose

The actual console seems to be getting a really good response which is great!

The kinect does seem to be good but the voice recognition is far from perfect, as seen HERE.

Everything is being traded in tomorrow which I should get about £160 for, on top of the £500 I have saved up, £40 extra for my 360 edition of FIFA 14 and £35 of deposits I should be more than able to buy everything I want. If not then CoD Ghosts will have to wait if anything.

This is why I wanted to get my console and games from a store Willow, I know when I am going to be getting it and I can pay for it on the day, meaning I can still be earning money for it right up to the day I need to pay for it!

but I also have a staff discount of 10% that's like £43 on the XBO and £35 on PS4 plus the games

well all my games have been dispatched now, including Assassins Creed 4 for PS4, hopefully they will be here Friday. Since I wont have much time to play before work on Friday (assuming XBO arrives before work) I don't think it will be much of a problem if the games don't arrive until later Friday or even Saturday
