Xbox One for £350 Empty Xbox One for £350

seems some retailers have reduced the Xbox One to £350, probably some Easter thing

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/458592/xbox-one-price-cut-to-pound349-by-uk-retailer/

Obviously a store like Asda can do that to encourage people into the store to buy other things.

But I can't help worrying sales of Xbox One are down. Only a few weeks from Xbox One's biggest game and yet they have made good price reductions. If they were selling out they would surely not do such a move?

More concerning is that neither MS or EA have boasted about Titanfall sales yet, I had expected it by now. I fear it has not sold as well as thought. Still decent numbers but not enough to justify MS splashing out on exclusivity

Its possible they could be waiting on 360 versions first week or so numbers as well.

It seems crazy that 3 months ago I sold mine with some games for £500 and now you can buy it brand new with 1 game for £350.

I remember buying a N64 and within a few weeks of launch they reduced the price by something like £100. Officially!

I was fuming and wrote to them, got a free game for my troubles. They reduced the price because they were not selling very well. Makes you wonder is it worth buying a new system on launch? Probably not if I am honest, that goes for any system!

Definitely wasn't worth it for me! No great games out for it and having a PC meant that I was never on it. Was just gathering dust.

May or may not pick one back up this year at some point, depends on money as I also need to start saving for a car!

also the fact they were and still are releasing games already out on 360 did not help!

If people ask me about the new consoles I say wait 6 months. Extra features and better games will make them much better in the months ahead.

Gearbox have said they wont be releasing the new Borderlands on the new systems because of the installed base is too low!
But if you don't have the games you don't get the console sales!

Problem is games cost so much now companies have to do these practices to make money!
