Tom Clancy has died aged 66 I'm sure many of you have heard the name on various games but also put out The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games and The sum of all fears

sad news.

when i was young i read a lot, then in my teens i didnt bother as i had other things to do (as you do at an age where pubs and women become interesting!).

in my early twenties i got reading his books and it brought back the passion i have for reading (films are goodbut never the same as reading in my opinion)

ive just finished 'rainbow 6' (for the umpteenth time!) and just started 'teeth of the tiger' - they are just a fantastic series of books.

RIP Mr Clancy.
