Wii are underwhelmed

I have this impression the wii u will be outclassed soon if not so already. I'm surprised it was so bad at Blops 2, its supposed to be a new console not 7 years old, if it struggles with that there is no chance in hell it will cope with 720 and PS4 games.

Its supposed to have more ram and a newer graphics chip, in the radeon HD 4000 series, much more advanced than 360 Radeon chip, although I suspect Nintendo went for a low end on. Which means the gap wont be as big

Mistakes I believe Nintendo have made, the console is too small so cant pack in decent hardware and the controller should not have been an expensive tablet thats not very good, the cost of which should have been plowed back into a decent cpu and graphics chip and a bit more ram

I can see why Nintendo have gone the low end route, a high spec system costs a fortune which is why Sony / MS have allowed current gen to last as long as it has, but the decline has not set in and new systems are needed.

The fact that Blops 2 cant even run at 720p native is just a joke on wii u, can play @1080p on my desktop and laptop! Its possible Blops 2 and Mass Effect 3 are rushed conversions.

Personally I believe Wii U wont be as sucessfull as wii, that sold well but game sales declined when the casuals stopped playing on it. I still would like one for Mario and Zelda, basicly Nintendos games. Probably get one when I can just walk into a shop and buy one and there are some good bundle deals.

Does not interest me at all.

Seems very expensive for what it is, very few games that interest me (zombie U is the only launch game) and not great system specs.

wish he could mention which games as they all look the same or worse on wii U!

I was expecting at least 50% better than 360 and thats not asking a lot, either the launch games were rushed or it really is underpowered.
Nintendo thought it worked on wii so lets try it again, thing is wii was no1 for hardware but was 3rd in software sales!
They are trying to appeal to core and casual but end up in the middle not supporting either

Really doesn't interest me either! The wife likes the idea of it but I told her she can have that or a kindle fire hd for Christmas; and the kindle fire won.
