General chat for February
another month, another disapointment
this time Dead Space 3 http://www.computerandvideogames.com/389419/dead-space-3-review-round-up-from-510-to-975/ I have enjoyed the previous games, may wait until the game goes down in price after what has been said
anyone else had snow today? been snowing quite a bit in Macclesfield

Re: General chat for February
Picked up Alien CM today. The reviews have been very harsh to this but i am enjoying it. The single player is good and atmospheric. You can tell that the developers are fans of the movies. I am playing it on Hard Difficulty as i don't want to breeze through it, and it has just the right amount of difficulty that i am looking for. The Multiplayer seems good enough, but there are not many people on it at the moment as it only launched today!!

I'm waiting for next month when the new Bioshock and Tomb Raider are out, will buy them on Steam, Bioshock has better textures and DX 11 support over the 360 version, and I bet Tomb Raider will be better on PC as well

This month is Aliens Colonial Marines and possibly Crysis 3. Definitely getting Tomb Raider next month. Unsure about BioShock to be honest. Want to see more footage on it.
Really enjoyed Crysis 2 but is Crysis 3 different enough to warrant a £40 purchase? What do you lads think?

Re: General chat for February
ive just been watching films and tv stuff plus back in the uK bit recently so my game time has been non existent.
im hoping to get some serious time in on BF3 & BO2 shprtly - i just need to have a fiddle with my tv first to get the right settings as i upgraded it.
Ive bought a 46 inch Samsung 8000 series 3d/LED tv and i am very impressed with it. Aside from the picture quality etc i make use of the inbuilt webcam for skype. Next up will probably be a sound bar or surround sound system to compliment it. Its also got the Samsung Evolution socket, basically in the future you can buy add ons to improve its performance etc.

Re: General chat for February
installed my new SSD drive last night and now reinstalled windows on it and updates, what can I say? Boot speed is faster, windows runs faster, I have Steam starting at launch now did not before as it slowed down the windows log in, not on ssd!
also PC is now quieter! I have kept my other 1TB drive in my pc for backup or storage of some games. I will put a few games on the SSD but games that dont require high specs or anything can go on the normal drive
