Xbone Preordered.

I have mine preordered.

Just wondered if anyone else would as this site does pretty much seem to be PS4 dominated.

i was a ps3 owner then switched to 360 and have never looked back. i think my ps3 hasnt been switched on in 2 years or so??

im a little bit surprised at the amount of stick the xbox one is getting on the net (even here), do people forget just how bad the ps online was at the start? poor chat facilities, going down, hacking etc etc?? they worked on it through the consoles lifespan to improve it but suddenly according to some people Sony is the be all and end all and they are accepting it will be better? i know this whole thing about 2nd hand games has annoyed people but its been there years! i bought Homefront brand new, the code didn't work and after a long argument with the shop etc i had to pay 10 euro for a new code.

i think the choice of console depends on what you want, if you want to buy 100s of games and especially those by independents then maybe its a harder choice, for me i bought COD last year (cos some mates play it and i like the odd nights gaming with them) and F1 and BF3 the year before. not much quantity but i liked the quality and game time i have had on them. So for me im pretty certain i will stick with xbox (never say never!).

btw the skype and hand control are handy - i have them on my samsung tv, i dont even use my laptop to skype my dad back in the UK, i just wave my hand or speak when i want to answer his call. its very cool!

I'm getting the Xbox One as Christmas present so that will be at least three of us.

If it wasnt for the fact that the xbox one is blocking used games then it would be a tough choice between what console i was would get.

I have to say sturm  I agree with you about the amount of stick the xbox is getting, (especially here lol), And also with homefront, bought that second hand and have never been able to play it online as no servers are on.. so after getting all the singleplayer achievents I am stuck.

I also agree that it does come down to what you really want from your console, but Guess I just feel people are being a little bit too harsh on MS, does nobody else think that MS doing the DRM and then coming out with  an exclusive relationship with EA (titan fall is an EA game, but not coming to PS4).

The price of the xbox will be a stretch and thinking if anything I will only be able to get one game with the console..but that will be BF4 lol, Destiny looked good for some multi though.

The weird thing is I was more blown over by world of tanks for the 360 ( have been playing this on my PC for the last 18 months) and have been closely following Beyond two souls on PS3

Micheal mate, the xbox doesn't block used games, to my knowledge you will be able to trade in your game once (boit sure if it has to be from new but think it is) and It will be at selected retailers..(which could be the bummer).

I like the fact you have all of your game library in the cloud so I can go to anyone's console and play any of my games just like on steam.

don't get me wrong I WILL be buying an Xbox One, do anyone really think I will miss out on Forza 5!

I've had to make a choice on what to get first and PS4 is my choice, PS3 has been getting better and better over the last few years, its improved much more than 360 has. 360 started at a much higher level so there was less need of improvement.

MS have brought all the issues they have had on themselves. Outside of MS console policies, and just looking at the games they seem to have a good line up. Witcher 3 looks amazing!

The games line ups for both are respectable. Wish I could get both to be honest but gonna get the pricier one out of the way first

I've pre ordered a xbox one, never really been a massive ps fan. I buy alot of my games brand new and never sell them on so its not a massive deal with the pre owned/ selling on my games stuff. 

I totally understand the problem with not being able to sell them on though. My biggest problem here is playstation aren't addressing the drm issue where microsoft kinda are. The only games that drm won't 100% be used on are playstation published games. All other game publishers can do whatever they like, so if they want to put a one use code in it they can, they may not but its a huge possibility. If I was a publisher and I could I would. 

Microsofts biggest problem is they think the consumer should get there vision, but we hate change. Like whats already been said the pc consumer hated steam when they came out, people hated itunes when it first came out but look at them now. Thats Microsofts vision. Ps4 may win the battle but if microsoft get it right the war will be theirs.

The first image for the headset has been released and it looks very similair to the 360 headset which is no problem for me. One problem is however, it doesnt come bundled with the console so you would have to pay even more to be able to talk to friends!

was wondering if it would come with a bundled headset, I do like the look of the one you are mentioning...

Would be annoying if there is no bundled headset whatsoever, but to be fair I haven't used a bindled headset for years lol.

Hope this standard one has better durability than the last generation.

well its official, I have now pre-ordered an Xbox One from my work

just like PS4 it was a £20 deposit well £18 to me because of the 10% discount

My PS4 will cost me £314.1 and Xbox One £386.1

Nice, thought about getting one from john lewis as I get 15% discount, but they are not even selling it yet lol

Somebody on Ebay has bid £799 for their xbox one preorder.... Retard

I intend to get the Xbox One and I shall, if only one game I can get with it at the time costs wise, be getting Battlefield 4. Everything up in the air at the moment so will just hope and pray everything falls into place. Did have the money for it but, cars being what they are, I had repairs to do.

I am so looking forward to Titanfall.

I forgot to mention that i pre ordered my xbox one a few weeks ago along with Battlefield 4 and fifa 14. Depending on how much money i have at the time, i may also pick up dead rising 3 and something else (havent looked at the launch game list), dont know yet though!

Kamikaze isn't it great that XB One now comes with FIFA 14 as dowloadable content. I'm still unsure wether to stick with that one or go with the COD Ghost offer, although its probably Battlefield 4 i'll be online with.

would you not get Fifa 14 no matter what bundle you order?

I got a free copy of Fifa when I bought my Vita (download) must be a game EA feel they can give away! Good game though

No willow, you get FIFA with the day one edition. And ghosts with the bog standard xbone.

Ordered mine today at work. Even though I won't get to play it until Christmas day I know that it will be the day one edition with FIFA 14. Going to get Ryse and BF4 for it.

Well maybe there is a god. the mrs checked my account just after midnight And I have been paid £700 more than normal, I have done some shifts through the night etc, but not sure it should have been that much.

So with that, I have taken 300 out the of the cash machine and stored it away so now only need £128, and won't even have to trade my PS3 or xbox in if I don't want to.

I am hoping my pay is correct as not going to be fully honest and tell them. what do you guys think?

Also had a little shop around for payday 2 but is out of stock everywhere.

Well it wasn't a mistake. My company has been incorrectly paying me for bank holidays, sunday working etc. So defo ghot my xbone now and may trade in my ps3 for another game.

Game emailed me to say payday was in stock, gone on the website and still out of stock. Grrrr
