XBO users can share gold via home gold

Sounds a good idea.
A few years ago MS started selling Office with 3 licences when they realised many homes had more than one computer, but this is multiple accounts on a single xbox one.
Good idea as if you have paid for gold why should another user in your house have to also pay £40 for things someone on your xbox can get.
This will be great news for households where a few people share a single console.

I like the idea, hopefully they can use this a spring board to get the digital library idea fully up and running.

I never believed for a second that they simply abandoned all the DRM policies ect.
They will be back probably gradually. As I have said before they can implement them on downloads even if they don't on boxed sales. I think if they also add a few extras to digital downloads it will encourage people to buy digital as well.
did you read the bit where if you say went round to a friends house and log in if they have a game say a download you can then access that game. Obviously you wont own it when back on your own system (unless you buy it) would help people on deciding if to buy a game or not?

Re: XBO users can share gold via home gold
that Is a cool idea, and now my mrs can play on mmy one without needing us both to have a gold subscription, onl downside is she would still need it for her 360. but if DR3 is coop, we could maybe play on tyhe same console I think.
WOuld like MS to just give us the choice at setup for the console.
Do you wish to have this console connected with full DRM restrictions___( full family sharing will be in effect), DO you wish to have this console connected without DRM____( No family sharing, but you still have the benefits of home gold).
