Read this article on IGN which shows what I always suspected games and consoles are the cheapest they have ever been, in real terms.
A game on the SNES like Mario Kart which cost £40 in 1992 is around £70! in today's money

Xbox One then is VERY cheap for what you get, I would deem it excellent value. Especially considering the lack of online and such on previous generation of consoles from the 80's and 90's!

Check the article out I know it's in US $ but the principle is the same in the UK as well
