Friends on Xbox One

been reading on twitter about friend requests on Xbox One, its seems like the system is more like twitter, you follow someone

only if someone follows back are you friends. Just tried out Xbox One smart glass. Going to change my picture on Xbox One as the 360 picture only fills up a small area on the friends list which I assume looks exactly the same on XBO as the smart glass looks like the XBO interface! You can send messages via smart glass which is great.

I sometimes send messages through Xbox.com site as its quicker than typing or use my chat pad which plugs into the 360 controller (a small keyboard really)

But I think I will move to the smart glass app for messages and such in future, on my laptop which has windows 8 on it. The app is quick so I think I will use it a lot just need to connect it to my Xbox One on Friday

No mate think you can request friends as normal, the whole following thing is in addition, should the followed person return the favour..I think

well not long until we find out  

I've started putting you lot as favourites, on my Xbox One friends list makes it easy to get to friends you mostly contact which is a good idea really
