Xbox not supporting Dolby digital output.
Full Dolby digital audio via digital optical will be added to Xbox some point after launch.

Just read the article on Eurogamer and stereo will still work at launch. This is all of my worries gone now as my sound bar only does stereo so I now also know for certain that it will work!

I use Dolby Digital on my 360 wonder if it supports DTS?

Yes it only supports DTS to begin with, the dolby digital surround is going to be added in 2014. This is disappointing that something like this is missing at launch considering its something taken for granted on Xbox 360!
