You remember me mentioning how I found it awkward to shut the Xbox One down via controller, well I have solved that now

Just hold down the home / Xbox button for a few seconds and it comes up with do you want to shut down the system? You basicly do what you do on PS3 / PS4 so that is a good thing!

I must have shut down 360 different to other people then, I just quickly pressed the button then cycled to the shut down through the mini pop up thing

i hold the button down for 2 seconds and it goes straight to a pop up asking if i want to shut it down, click yes and its off.
theres no cycling?

is that what you mean?

I just press the xbox button don't hold it down and acess the shut down from the mini UI that pops up you know the one that has friends, messages ect on, just go to the last blade and select shut down

nope always just held the button down for the 2 secs then selected turn off lol.

Not turned my One off via the controller yet, always use voice.

Yeah the holding down of the guide button was normally how i turned my xbox 360 off. Used it a few times on my One but normally use my voice like shifty!

8 years and Willow just learned how to shut down a 360 the quick way Very Happy
