Game Over Nintendo? Empty Game Over Nintendo?

Is a question a lot of people are asking http://www.computerandvideogames.com/446277/blog/nintendo-must-reinvent-itself/

many people are saying they should abandon Wii U and start on a new console, while they are working on a new system, they should not just ditch it.

Look at what happened to Sega? Also if you look at PS3, while that had a very bad start, I would argue that at the end of the generation they fixed most of the problems with the system, that they technically could with PS3.

Naturally party chat they could not do. They could have easily abandoned the system when it was so difficult for developers, Valve's Gabe Newel basically said Sony should scrap PS3 and start again, but that would have cost its reputation, people would not trust them again.

What Sony did was to make the best of a bad situation, the exclusive games and quality vastly improved, Uncharted, The last of us. They introduced PS+ to compete with Xbox Live

In effect even though Nintendo are in trouble they need to fix the system get some good games that sell and maybe win back 3rd party support
