One has no Bluray drive? Empty One has no Bluray drive?

Been reading about MS releasing a new XBO WITHOUT a Bluray drive!

http://spong.com/article/31277/Microsofts-1TB-White-and-Disc-Free-Xbox-Ones

My opinion is DONT get a Bluray less system because

1. Size of game downloads for people with slow connections
2. While system may be cheaper, download games cost more, wiping out any savings made in long term

I know MS have announced they will be looking at download prices so if they bring them down to store prices or less it would help

They would have to price them lower than the retail versions so to get people to buy them that way. If I had the choice between spending £40 and having it there and then or £40 and wait 8+ hours for it to download I would take the 1st option everytime and I think everyone else would too! Plus with the retail versions, you can trade them in to go towards a new game that is coming out.

all this talk about XBO price cuts, personally I believe its hot air for several reasons, it's still selling ok, and the major games have yet to release and when they do sales will really pick up so no need to reduce price now.

also the rumour they would drop Kinect is probably wrong if they did that would prove to people they were wrong to bundle it with the system and also likely kill the Kinect for many developers
