Rumour MS to ditch some DRM policies Empty Rumour MS to ditch some DRM policies

Breaking news that MS may ditch some of the controversial policies of Xbox One regarding the 24hr log in and used games.

IF and I say IF this is true then this is a great win for gamers, and would be great for Xbox One sales. Reality if you don't like something complain.

I think its too early to say if true but if it is, this makes Xbox One a much better buy now!

I don;t think they will, maybe extend the 24 to 48 or longer maybe? but not sure if they could completely retract it..would be nice though.

I think they should do as long as you have the disc in the drive you don't need to go online but you do if you don't put the disc in, would be a compromise!

I can't shake of the thought the DRM bit is just some publicity stunt, soon as you remove it, people are relieved.

Only time will tell!

well that's the trade off, I'm afraid you need the disc in the system now!

The policies MS originally announced would have happened eventually anyway its just they wanted to bring them in quicker than the market was ready for!

It is no longer region locked either and we still have our library in the cloud..

You do not have to connect to the internet EVER after the first initial setup..

I dont think people understand how to turn off the kinect then!

I dont think they will drop the price of it but also there being no region locking anymore there is no need! Just buy it from elsewhere online and it will be delivered early too!

People are also saying that the damage is done, well some damage was done but they have massively helped themselves out by going back on themselves!

read this somewhere else today, though this one is more detailed.. Good find.

I have no problem with no second hand sales if I don't have to pay to unlock a games Hardcore mode.
