Xbox One reveal Empty Xbox One reveal

I watched the reveal and in all honesty was disappointed, too much on TV and not enough on games

Call of Duty Ghosts looked good certainly better than the flaky old COD games that look wooden

in all honesty there is still too much unknowns about the system but PS4 is my pick at the moment!

looks like games do require install

achievement points carry over from 360

2nd hand games are not blocked BUT do require payment to "unlock" the game on another account!

no 360 games playable on it

I quite liked it to be honest. Although it was mainly about TV and movies, they did show off some games and it looked good.

The kinect stuff was surprisingly cool as well. Not too forced upon us though hopefully!

To be honest though, I think it will be slightly less powerful than the PS4 as Sony stated which type of RAM they were using, MS didn't. However, we don't know the clock speeds of the RAM which could also come into play.

The multi-tasking and switching was also clever however with slower broadband speeds, will it actually be that quick?

Overall, liked it and I am looking forward to seeing more of it at E3 in just under 3 weeks!! Very Happy

the bandwidth of the ram in PS4 seems to be much greater from what has been said

I did like the look of the new Forza game, and the new Call of Duty (and dog) which seems to have moved on after so long on the old creaking engine for years. Time will tell if it can look better than BF4

lots of info was released after the video was finished and some details are still to be finalised, looks like if you subscribe to XBL for 360 it covers Xbox One (daft name) as well

E3 is where the war REALLY begins, but like many people I put my weight behind PS4 as of now, based on what has been seen so far!

I am hoping that MS used this reveal to get the 'living room' stuff out if the way. Leaving E3 open for done more detail on the console and how it plays. Not interested in the videos they showed yesterday. I only ever pay attention to the games when I see them played.

Not buying both consoles this generation and will probably be the 360 purely because of my gamer tag and gamerscore. I hate trophies on playstation

your gamertag and score can move over to the Xbox One plus they are altering the Gamerscore so its more dynamic, which probably means adding new ones in at any time

problem with current systems is that in a years time games will dry up for them.

seems MS are confused as to if they will charge for 2nd hand games or not http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-05-22-phil-harrison-tries-again-to-clarify-game-ownership-second-hand-sales-and-always-online-in-xbox-one

my belief is they will always charge for 2nd hand, places like Game will have to cut 2nd hand prices to account for the charge, many games are way to close to full price anyway this will allow games companies to get a cut of 2nd hand games (even though they have already been paid for that copy in the first place)

its not suggested to unlock a 2nd hand game may cost as much as new http://www.computerandvideogames.com/407912/microsoft-confirms-pre-owned-fee-for-xbox-one/

2nd hand market will die with Xbox One I suspect or be seriously cut back
