They have increased the GPU clock speed from 800MHz to 853 Mhz.

They have are also using new Graphics drivers.

which is good, as long as its got the bandwidth to cope.

Its really going to be next year before we really see what the new consoles can really do!

I think they do have the bandwidth. it is a small change so to me says that is as far as they could go with it making any benefit.

its possible any faster and they would not have any benefit. I've seen decent graphics chips with low bandwidth on low end chips on PC and it cripples performance of the chip

wonder if it all came down to the thermal threshold. maybe they were to careful with it and realized they had alot of room to play with.

Hands on reports The Xbone is super quiet, so would assume that large fan is also doing a very good job of cooling.

Just strange it has got so close to launch for the realisation.

I heard one of the reasons that's its so big is so that it has room for cooling, I think they want to avoid a repeat of the 360 early failure rate, which is the right thing to do, you can shrink the system in a few years when its easier to do and not compromise reliability!
