Wii U sales terrible!

Nintendo are still in profit probably due to the 3DS but Wii U sales are terrible with just 160,000 consoles sold in the quarter

In my opinion they need the big games NOW. Can't understand why they don't have them on launch, when I bought a SNES in 1992 I got Super Mario World with it! When I got N64 in 1997 I got Mario 64, big name games not a glorified tech demo (Nintendo land)

I fear they have lost the plot as well as that Asda have stopped stocking Wii U in the stores, it does not look good

160000 in the quarter! :O 360's are still selling over 100000 a month in the US alone! And theyre more expensive for worse technology!

I honestly dont think that nintendo will produce another console, they just cant compete with MS and Sony.

I don't think Nintendo can keep up anymore, gone are the glory days of the SNES in 1992!

They tried to make out they were having trouble making games in HD a few months ago! Hardly cutting edge technology anymore

If they had some big games at launch and had not bothered with that daft tablet controller they would have done much better. Analysts have said the Wii U should have launched 2 years earlier, and I agree. By now big games would be out and perhaps have a decent install base but they don't 3rd party's are pulling support and now PS4 and Xbox One with record pre-orders are about to destroy the Wii U

I believe the Wii was a fluke success unfortunately for Nintendo the casuals now own a smartphone or tablet to play those basic games !

I dont touch games on my tablet or phone, really don't see the point.
