GTA5 already? Empty GTA5 already?

developers can easily solve this issue they already have on PC. I purchased Deus EX when it was released the other year in boxed form, game arrived early, and had to use Steam, now could I play the game before release day?

No, because it needed to be activated (just once) and it would not allow it before release day.

I can see the same thing happening on Xbox One and PS4, a one time activation to see if you are not playing early I can see the major games like COD implementing such a system at least for next years games as the new consoles release after the new games release on other formats
