another month already and a big month for gamers!

my PC version of BF4 has arrived install time!

made me laugh Tesco have put PC BF4 up to £37 I ordered it for £30.99 (£27.90 after staff discount!)

A very big month for gamers indeed!!

Amazon have upped the price from £30.99 to £34.97 and Game are still priced at £34.99. Not bothered as i'm getting it in 21 days anyway so OH HAPPY DAYS.

just been playing PC version on ULTRA, its glitchy as hell flashing colours all over the screen!

going to start it up again to see if it was just a one off!

otherwise shame on Dice!

Update: I have updated my graphics drivers and can now play the game without glitches, all sorts of strange colours appearing on screen! worried for a minute I have bought a lemmon! also installed the Battlelog on my phone

The battlelog app doenst have the commander mode support yet. That is due to be released on the 19th November.

Graphics are amazing on this game. I expect Xbox one to look amazing as well! Running on ultra just about ok on it, remember I'm still using a 4 year old CPU in my system with that slow memory. Should get a boost when I upgrade my PC next year!

Usually the difference between High (XBO / PS4 are equivalent to) and Ultra is not that much, but takes a lot of extra power just for a slight improvement, and I mean slight!

The XBO and PS4 will be medium settings maximum. They are struggling to stay at 60fps and with the XBO only at 720p I couldn't see them running it at high settings (or equivalent to). PS4 is 900p too. You would have thought that if it was at high settings then they would drop it to increase framerate and resolution?!

perhaps they wanted it to look as good as possible. I always thought they were going for 60fps on the consoles? Unless that's multiplayer only?

I'm sure I read somewhere it was high settings, I know on BF3 the consoles were like low settings. If you ever get the PC version get it boxed its on 3 DVD's and Origin sells standard edition for £45! What I paid £27 for! although I do get an extra map pack with mine as well China Rising its called. No achievements on PC version which is annoying as they added them to BF3 on Origin. Shows how lob sided the Origin client really is!

Yeah they are going for 60fps on both consoles across campaign and multiplayer but they very rarely are stuck at 60fps.

I highly doubt with the graphics chips that are inside the machines at the low speeds that they are able to play it at 60fps (with the room to drop to 30fps) at high settings. A friend of mine is getting 80fps on high with an 8 core AMD clocked at 4.0ghz and a GTX 600Ti!!

just to show how we in the Netherlands are getting ripped off, as well awaiting for an as yet unknown release date for the xbox one - the price of BF4 here is 59.99 euro which converts today to a whopping £51!!!!!!

Does everyone remember when 360 games were £50 on release! The supermarket and online price war ended that!

remember when Street Fighter 2 on SNES was £65 in 1992! you get a LOT more for your money in video games these days!

theres no official next gen prices available here as yet, but the rumour for xbox one games is to expect 60-80 euro!!! see what i mean about getting ripped off?

that new Batman game is annoying I ran into one of the games many glitches. Doors would not open. Restarting the game seemed to solve it! That game is a glitch fest. I think they rushed the game out to be released before BF4 / COD and the new consoles

I think ripped off is an understatement! Ever think of ordering off of Amazon UK and just getting it delivered to you in Holland? May take a little while but it would be considerably cheaper.

well Tesco have sent me an email I can order a PS4 or PS4 with Killzone, with my staff discount I can get Killzone for £32.40!

So not £49 (£44.10) think I will got for Killzone bundle (its NOT the 2 controller + camera bundle) so £385 (before staff discount / £346.5 after minus £20 deposit I already paid so £326.50)

Was having issues with trying to find a solution for audio on my Xbox One. Think I have it sorted, now just need to get paid.

Basically, 3.5mm from the speakers goes into a 3.5mm female to female adapter which on the other end of the adapter goes a 3.5mm to USB adapter. The USB goes into the USB port on my Xbox One. The logic is there, if it doesnt work then I will just cry and not have audio

well I have ordered the Killzone PS4 pack so that's an extra game to look forward to!

I notice Shifty likes his Dead Rising bet he would like the Dead Rising 3 Xbox One it looks fantastic!

well I have my first PS4 game COD Ghosts arrived today! looks like Activision have got round the lost sales on week one issue I guess. a nice 49GB install!

Well i turned on my xbox expecting to see a lot of people playing ghosts to find no one playing it. Suprising yet not suprising at the same time.

it was the same with BF4 the other day.

I remember what seemed like a year or 2 ago when you could switch 360 on cod launch day and almost everyone was on cod, how times change, what do you think of this

i do buy a lot of stuff from the UK, i also scour Holland, Belgium and Germany to see if any offers are one - its just time consuming.

i never post anything to where i live as it takes a couple of weeks! stuff gets into Holland quickly then seems to disappear for ages with the local post people   

That articles interesting and the guy from IW seems very arrogant. I kind of hope Battlefield and other shooters come along quickly and knock him right back down to where he should be.

Ah that sucks Sturm. Don't really know of any other way for you to get games quicker and cheaper!
