MS CEO candidate to possibly consider selling xbox business!

Since Steve Ballmer announced he is to step down we have been hearing about people to replace him, this new candidate Stephen Elop apparently is considering either shutting or selling certain parts of MS considered a distraction.

So the end for Bing and the sell off of the Xbox division could happen? even Paul Allen (MS co founder, along side Bill Gates) is rumoured to think the same way!

Analyst's have long called for the Xbox division to be spun off, they have also said Sony should spin off the movie business and PS business as well.

Not sure if this will happen but if Xbox is sold it make weaken the division depending on who they sell it to and that wont be good for gamers

Both companies would be stupid to sell off the gaming divisions. Especially Sony, they practically made console gaming what it is today with the PS1 and bought huge success with the PS2!

I don't really see why either would though to be honest.
