PS3 is UK best selling console this summer!

Looks like The Last of Us has done wonders for PS3, as it was the best selling console in the UK in the summer

I also believe the excellent games on PS+ like Battlefield 3 have also pushed up sales, either way its good for Sony

Something for Nintendo to take note. If you want to sell consoles you need the games!

Was thinking is this free game thing bad for the gaming industry? I mean I wonder how many people have stopped buying games and are waiting for them to come out free.

I know personally I have been thinking of getting PS+ and just living off the free stuff..

Yeah if I still had my PS3 then I dont think I would buy many games, just purely live off the free games! Was hoping it would be the same with this Games for Gold thing but it turns out Microsoft are much tighter than Sony and are giving us some very old games that pretty much everyone has already played and completed! Magicka 2013 and RS:Vegas this month, PS+ got AC3 and others. Says it all.

free games could be a master stroke, BF3 on PS+ the other month in build up to BF4? brings in more players and money!

Plus the money from PS+ developers would get something where as they would not if a game is bought 2nd hand!
