So the first gameplay trailer has been revealed and I must say that it looks amazing. If too amazing for current gen consoles although you can pre-order it for Xbox 360 and PS3 now?!

Yeah that is gonna be using a high spec pc, though I read sonewhewre it was gonna be a next gen launch title..

I am worried abou the next xbox, I prefer gaming over apps, so currently the PS4 is looking appealing, need to see what microsoft have to offer before I decide.

If the rumours of the graphics are as accurate as they were for PS4, then the Xbox 720 is quite a bit less powerful than PS4, if that makes a big difference to games time will tell

ill be getting it on release, wether thats current or next gen - im still putting a fair bit of time in on BF3 so its a must have for me (CoD titles arent value for money as i play them so little).

I heard Battlefield 4 was running on a Radeon 7990 so top end!

Don't think I will buy Battlefield 4 on current systems, BF3 seemed a bit much for Xbox 360 to cope with. When you have played the game on PC console versions looked terrible to me.

rumours now say the console versions (720 and PS4) versions of Battlefield 4 will run at 720p 60fps and water down DX11 features, disappointing if true. I would rather have 1080p 30fps in all honesty.

will find out soon enough

Not going to be getting this on current gen. Being more careful at the moment with games as I know that I will be getting the PS4 on launch and the new Xbox for Christmas (as long as it is available of course)

I've been thinking the same, I've already cut back on xbox 360 / PS3 purchases (PS+ has allowed that on PS3!) things like the new COD and BF4 I will buy for next gen and PC only now. Current consoles will feel like the cut down versions!

It will be next year before we really see what next gen can do as this is the cross over year

what is all this hype about 60 fps, I swear I used to think anything over 30 fps was hardly noticeable to the human eye
